Personal information

First we need some personal information from you.

Here are some pointers:

Serious illnesses, allergies, special conditions

Please let us know if you have a serious condition, allergy or important medication that we should know about.
- This is information that enables us to help you in case something happens to you.
You choose yourself what to eat in the ship's restaurants, so we do not need your diet information - except if it is a very serious allergy, then we recommend you to let us know.

Cruise Options

Base sign-up fee

On top of that you have to pay for room in a cabin and have options for buying meals.

There are two options for boarding the cruise, either from Helsinki or from Stockholm. Both cruises last 4 nights.

You have to choose do you board the Solmukohta cruise from:
HELSINKI on the 9th of March 2016
OR
STOCKHOLM on the 10th of March 2016

The cruise is scheduled following between Helsinki and Stockholm.:

It starts on Wednesday (9th) from Helsinki
- that is the last night of AWiF
ends up to Stockholm on Thursday (10th) morning
- the Solmukohta 2016 itself starts on Thursday,
continues in the early evening back to Helsinki, ends up in Helsinki on Friday (11th) morning,
continues in the early evening back to Stockholm, ends up in Stockholm on Saturday (12th) morning,
continues in the early evening back to Helsinki, ends up in Helsinki on Sunday (13th) morning
- Solmukohta 2016 ends here
participants who started in Stockholm continue in the early evening back to Stockholm,
- and end up in Stockholm on Monday (14th) morning,

Cabins

There are two options for the sleeping. Either you let us place you or you team up with friends.

If you let us place you, you'll only pay your share of the cabin.
- Normally this is 1/4.
If you team up, one of you pays for the entire cabin and the others join in.
- You can choose to be in the cabin alone.
- You can be 2 person in a cabin.
- You can be 3 persons in a cabin
- You can be 4 persons in the cabin.
- Cabins do not need to be full.
We need to know who is sleeping where in order for you to get a boarding pass for the cruise ship.
- This means you cannot overbook cabins.
Cabins are only available from the day you purchase them to the day the cabin payer's ticket ends. So you all should board the cabin from the same city.

We recommend choosing a Promenade-class cabin for optimal price/comfort zone.

There is few cabins with handicap access (3 person cabins) in cabin classes Promenade and A.

Most of the cabins have 4 beds. All cabins have a bathroom with toilet and shower, sheets and towels.

Food

Solmukohta's ticket includes the gala dinner on Saturday night only. The gala is a full buffet dinner with plenty of options -- both allergy friendly and vegetarian/vegan. The buffet includes free beer and wine.

Meals available on the sign up

You can purchase additional meal packages to the dinner and breakfast buffets. Both the breakfast and dinners include a wide variety of food -- also allergy friendly and vegetarian/vegan. The dinner buffet includes "all you can drink"-style lager beer and "wine".

-meal times:

Breakfast buffets are at 07:00 to 09:30
Dinner buffets are at 17:00 to 19:00

Breakfast: you can preorder breakfast in the buffet for days of your choice for 11€/meal.

Make sure you choose the breakfast for the days you are on the ship.
You can use breakfast vouchers also in other restaurants and cafés on the ship, if you happen to miss your breakfast.

Dinner: you can preorder dinner in the buffet for days of your choice for 38€/meal.

Make sure you choose the dinner for the days you are on the ship.

PACKAGE DEAL: If you order at least 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners there is a package deal discount of 8 euros.

You can also purchase buffet meals at the ship, but at a higher cost.

Other food options

The cruise ship has several other restaurants and cafés where you can get both cheaper and more expensive food. These have their separate menus.

Solmukohta does not offer prebooking for these places, but for the restaurants you can prebook once on the ship. Some of the restaurants can become full at times. Preordering buffets guarantees a spot.

The lowest cost one can survive with is perhaps around 11 € per day + snacks from the tax free shop. The boat also has refrigerator units which work on a 2 € fee. Remember that alcohol is tax free on the boats.

You will receive an confirmation email after submitting the sign up form with payment details.

Please check your confirmation email and make sure that the amount you receive is correct.

You ticket is not finally registered before we receive a confirmation of your payment via bank, your country contact, or the credit card payment provider.
